J. Geils Band
Centerfold

Does she walk?
Does she talk?
Does she come complete?
My homeroom homeroom angel
Always pulled me from my seat
She was pure like snowflakes,
No one could ever stain
The memory of my angel
Could never cause me pain
Years go by,
I'm looking through a girlie magazine
And there's my homeroom angel
On the pages in between

My blood runs cold,
My memory has just been sold
My angel is a centerfold
Angel a centerfold

Slipping notes, under the desk
While I was thinking about her dress
I was shy, I turned away,
Before she caught my eye
I was shakin' in my shoes
Whenever she flashed those baby blues
Something had a hold on me
When Angel passed close by
Those soft fuzzy sweaters,
Too magical to touch
To see her in that neglige is really just too much

Now listen:
It's okay, I understand
This ain't no never-never land
I hope that when this flash is gone
I'll see you when your clothes are on
Take your car, yes we will,
We'll take your car and drive it
Take it to a motel room
And take 'em off in private
A part of me has just been wrecked
The pages from my mind are stripped
Oh no I can't deny it
Oh yeah, I guess I got to buy it

My blood runs cold,
My memory has just been sold
My angel is a centerfold
Angel a centerfold

Always said that I would just drop it in the mail when it happened, and autograph it from 'your centerfold...'

JIM:
Yeah Lloyd, What are your plans for the future?
LLOYD:
Spend as much time as possible with Diane before she leaves.
JIM:
Seriously, Lloyd.
LLOYD:
I'm totally and completely serious.
JIM:
No, really.
LLOYD:
You mean like career?
Uh, I don't know.
I've, I've thought about this quite a bit sir,
and I'd have to say considering
what's waiting out there for me,
I don't want to sell anything,
buy anything or process anything as a career.
I don't want to sell anything bought or processed,
or buy anything sold or processed,
or... process anything sold, bought or processed,
or repair anything sold, bought or processed,
you know, as a career I don't want to do that.
So, uh, my father's in the army,
he wants me to join,
but I can't work for that corporation,
so what I've been doing lately is kickboxing,
which is really a, uh, new sport,
but I think it's got a good future.
As far as career longevity goes,
I don't really know, because, you know,
you can't really tell.
Your training sticks as a fighter,
you know, but it's no good,
you know, you have to be great,
but I can't really tell if I'm great
until I've had a couple of pro fights.
But I haven't been knocked out yet.
I don't know, I can't figure it all out tonight sir,
I'm going to hang with your daughter.
